They are fun, adorable and energetic! The Golden Retriever is the dream dog if you want to have a pet suited for you and your family. They are loyal, sociable and trainable. This breed can easily adapt to various lifestyles and provide you with ten to twelve years of satisfying dog companionship. Golden Retrievers make excellent surrogate mothers to different species. Some of their talents include hunting, tracking, retrieving, narcotics detection, agility, competitive obedience and performing tricks.

A short film about how my young golden retriever is always trying to get the older dog to play with him.

I love Goldens. I had 4 of them for 14 years. They all passed within one
year of each other. The last one was only 6 years old. I am sure he died of
a broken heart when his mommy and daddy passed. I cried like a baby and
buried them all on my property side by side. It has been about two years
since they passed. I still think of them and smile. I sure hope our pets
are in Heaven. They show true love like no other human ever could.
